Leave your dogs with me for a worry free holiday,

We have left our cockapoo, Alfie, with Nicki on several occasions. Each time we leave him we feel confident that he's going to be cared for really well by Nikki and enjoy his stay. It's obvious to anyone that Nikki adores dogs. She sends us picutres of Alfie and messages when were away which is very comforting. We'll most certainly be contacting Nikki when we book our next holiday abroad. I would recommend homeformhome for dogs to anyone. A fantastic service!

Our Vizsla girls, Rosie and Lola attended daycare at Nikkis once a week for a few weeks before there 10 night stay while we were on our holiday. I was a little nervous leaving them at first but on their second visit to daycare I couldn't believe how excited they were when i pulled up at Nikkis drive and they dashed off with there leads in their mouths to meet her at the door. I wasn't worried at all when it came to leaving them while we were away for 10 nights, i had come to see how much they enjoyed there visits knowing they were getting plenty of exercise and love and I am certain they thoroughly enjoyed there holiday too. Nikki sent me regular picture messages of their antics which reassured me they were happy and well settled. I would highly recommend Nikki to anyone looking for a real home from home experience for their dog. Thanks Nikki

We left our labrador Bonnie at Nikki's for the first time for two weeks while we were on holiday and were apprehensive as she had never been left before. We needn't have worried as she settled well and enjoyed playing with all the other dogs. Nikki sent us some messages and video of her which we were pleased to receive as it put our minds at rest. We would have no hesitation at leaving Bonnie with Nikki again. Thankyou Nikki.

A big thankyou Nikki for having both our dogs for the week. They enjoy meeting the other dogs. If the dogs are happy so are the owners. Nikki sends us texts to let us know how the dogs are doing. When we collect them the dogs are pleased to see us but equally sad that they ate not staying. Nikkis has a real home from home feeling. We've already booked our beds for easter and the summer. Thankyou again Barney and Scruffy

Nikki has been looking after our dog Betsy for a while now. Not only does it give us the peace of mind that whilst we are at work, Betsy is not alone but we come home to a very happy, content and tired pooch. Betsy absolutely loves going to Nikki and gets so excited when we go anywhere near her home. Betsy even stayed at Nikki over the Chriatmas period whilst we were away. I can't thank or praise Nikki enough!!

My Boston Terrier Nina has been going to Nikki's day care since she was 14 weeks old and it has made her a well behaved confident dog. Nikki looks after the dogs like they are her own - she even hand made a dog carrier for Nina for when she was a smaller and couldn't walk as far as the other dogs. She can't wait to get in the door when I take her and doesn't want to leave when I pick her up. Thanks Nikki x

Nikki is a true gem, I'm so pleased she was recommended to me. Rufus went for a few doggy day care visits, he leapt out of the car and ran down Nikkis drive with his tail wagging, raring to get in. Nikki has just had Rufus for 10 days while we were out of the country on holiday. I have never felt so relaxed as I did when I letf Rufus with Nikki. He enjoys playing with the other dogs, especially Nikki's dog Bella. Nikki answered my texts telling me how Rufus was and reassuring me my baby was settled and happy. I would recommend Nikki to anyone she is a star, Rufus will continue to visit doggy day care and Nikki will look after Rufus when we go away again, he loves his Aunty Nikki. Thanks you Nikki

What a gem we found when we discovered Nikki. Our springer Buster started out as a very nervous pup apprehensive of spending time with anyone else. Initially he had to be dragged in. That was about two years ago, how times have changed. He only stays now and again but on his last visit he jumped out of the car, ran down the drive and barked at Nikki's door to get in. Nikki's is a brilliant place for him to improve his socialisation skills her soft as a brush Staffie Bella always gives him a good welcome. It's brilliant to go away over night and feel relaxed that our beautiful and loved canine friend is being as we'll looked after as is at home. You should see the beaming smiles we have when we receive a photo text of Buster sprawled out and relaxed making himself thoroughly at home while we are away watching a concert or on a mini break. Thanks Nikki. Paul & Zoe.

Hollie stayed at Nikki's from the 4-20 November 2014 like any dog owner I was anxious that she would not settle, how wrong could I be. NIkki sends regular text photos to you to show you how your dog is settled, they get plenty of excersise and are treated like they are her own. In fact I think Hollie is sulking because we brought her home think she is missing Bella. Would highly recommend Nikki if you want peace of mind and a happy contented dog .

Welcome to Nikki's Home from Home for Dogs

Licence number 043243

We have just been awarded 5 stars, low risk, by the local council, under the Animal Activity Star Rating System

Hi I am an ex-registered nurse who has always preferred dogs to people. I have a great understanding of dogs having had them for most of my 50+ years. I currently have a soft daft Staffi called Bella, and a Beagle Harrier called Raif, who are both very sociable and welcome dogs into their home with open paws. Whilst your dogs are with us, they are looked after as though they are my own. My only rule is that they are not allowed upstairs to give my dogs a bit of space.

I guarantee that they will be loved, spoilt, played with, however I do set rules, boundaries and limitations, which makes for a happy home.

We require you to sign a contract, which states that your dog has had their flea and worming treatment and that their vaccinations are up to date. We require to see their vaccination certificate

CRB Checked, Fully Insured, Fully Licenced by RMBC, Canine First Aid Certificate

I care for the dogs in my own home, which has a secure garden and a padlocked gate ( I know it is secure as our Raif is a bit of a Houdini, and has shown us every escape route possible, which are no longer available to him, or any other dogs in our care)

We have wonderful woods nearby, which make for a great playground for the dogs

All the dogs in my care are exercised to your requirements, although generally we find that taking them out to the local woods as a pack works well. We are usually out for 90 minutes, however if your dog is too young/old for this we will take them out seperately

Please note that we only take un-neutered males up to the age of 1 year old, and don't take females in season, even if they have been pre-booked with us

We also provide doggy day care, however we require all day care to be here before 8am, as this is when we go out for our walk. This is to ensure that the noise levels are kept down for our neighbours

Please take a moment to view our slide show, and see all the dogs in our care, having a good time

We do not have any children in residence, the children you see in the photo's are my god-children

We take/enable collection of your dog from 06-00 hours to 21-o0 hours. We would ask guests to be considerate of our neighbours and take care to not obscure their drive in any way, especially the driveway of Number 84

All dogs taken, however I do require to meet them first to assess their temperament, and assess how they will get along with my dogs, a soft daft Staffi called Bella, who is missing her big sister, and her new brother Raif, a young Beagle/Harrier
