My Basset Hound Shinya has been with Nikki since he was a pup, he's 2 1/2 years old now. Within days of him being in day care he was toilet trained, much better on the lead, friendly with other dogs, other kids & adults. I can see how much Nikki cares about not only Bella & Raif, but all the other dogs in her care. I am very confident & happy leaving my hound there on a daily basis!

Hi i have been taking my dog Justin to Nikkis for 6 years and he loves to go. It is like home from home for him with lots of toys and walks in the woods.Nikki always sends me comfort pictures which is very reassuring, when i go to pick him up he does not want to leave.

Our dogs Stan & Peggy stayed with Nicky for the first time last week and they absolutely loved it! They had a great time and settled in really well. Nicky put us at ease - I was worried Peggy might disgrace herself (she’s only a puppy) but nothing was an issue. Nicky sent photos of the dogs during their stay which was lovely. We knew the dogs would have a great walk too. They’re booked in again soon! Thanks!

We have left our Cockerpoo Floss with Nikki several times now, the latest for 2 weeks from 5th June whist we went on holiday. Floss loves her stays with Nikki and the other dogs, she has good long walks and loves playing with the other dogs. Nikki sends us pictures/videos of Floss whilst we are away which we love. We think it is much nicer for our beloved pet to be in a home from home environment rather than kennels. Would have no hesitation in recommending Nikki's services. Thank you:)

My two cocker spaniels visit Nikki occasionally for day care, but regularly for sleepovers and holidays and they LOVE IT ! They cry with excitement all the way and can't wait to get into the house to see who is there to play with. Just so good to know they are happy, safe and spoilt. Daft soft Bella the Staffi has welcomed them into her home and I am not allowed to leave without giving her some attention! The girls are looking forward to their Christmas holiday, which I am sure will include a Nikki's Christmas day dinner ! Definitely home from home !

Our whippet Macy has been going to doggy day care with Nikki since she was 6 months old. Integrating with the other dogs helped with her socialisation when we rescued her at 6 months and she is very confident and well mannered as a result. Nikki looks after Macy so well to keep her safe whilst we're at work - even though it means Nikki has to have eyes in the back of her head to keep up with Macy- and she has been so very tolerant and understanding when Macy has chewed things up. Macy always comes home completely shattered when she's been at Nikki's and is always very excited to go out of the house when it is a Nikki's day - which is a sure sign of how much she enjoys herself. Thank you Nikki

Alfie went to stay with Nikki 2 weeks ago. A nine year old greedy Labrador who I'd just taken to the vet as he was starting with arthritis. We had to start him on a diet. Nikki suggested yumove and ordered some immediately for next day delivery. We have come home to our baby who can now walk for 75 minutes without limping. He's lost 3 inch from his girth and is bounding with happiness. We can't thank you enough Nikki. PS he loves his new dish

Our two cocker spaniels, Spud and Barney, LOVE going to spend time with Nikki. They have both come on in leaps and bounds being socialised with the other friendly dogs who stay with Nikki. They arrive full of beans and excitement and come home shattered.....speaks volumes! She is without doubt our Fairy dog mother.

We left our dog with Nikki for the first time recently. He is a rescue dog and is not only young and energetic but also blind, so is not easy to care for. After making a visit beforehand, we felt that he would be safe and happy with Nikki and he was obviously part of the doggie gang when we got back, looking happy and more confident. The dogs mix really well, having the fun of socialising and walking together. Sheldy was obviously having a great time without us; I think he is probably missing Nikki and the gang now he is back home!So much better for him than a normal boarding kennel. As others have said, it really is a home from home.

We have left our dogs with Nikki now for a number of years, long weekends and for two week holidays. We know they are treasured and looked after the same as Nikki would care for her own dog, they are walked on a daily basis and integrated with other dogs( which does them the world of good) and it's a blessing for us to go away and know they will be well looked after and cared for. If you are looking for a place for your loved pet to stay and be looked after to the highest standard then please use this lady as you will not be disappointed, we live close by and see on a daily basis how well Nikki looks after the dogs in her care and now even when I walk my dogs past the house they look to go in which shows they see it as a loving and friendly place to be.Nikki will look after your dog whilst your away giving you peace of mind knowing they will be treated so well and cared for,she has made our holidays so much more enjoyable knowing our dogs love to go there and be with her.

Hi I am an ex-registered nurse who has always preferred dogs to people. I have a great understanding of dogs having had them for most of my 50+ years. I currently have a soft daft Staffi called Bella, and a Beagle Harrier called Raif, who are both very sociable and welcome dogs into their home with open paws. Whilst your dogs are with us, they are looked after as though they are my own. My only rule is that they are not allowed upstairs to give my dogs a bit of space.
I guarantee that they will be loved, spoilt, played with, however I do set rules, boundaries and limitations, which makes for a happy home.
We require you to sign a contract, which states that your dog has had their flea and worming treatment and that their vaccinations are up to date. We require to see their vaccination certificate
CRB Checked, Fully Insured, Fully Licenced by RMBC, Canine First Aid Certificate
I care for the dogs in my own home, which has a secure garden and a padlocked gate ( I know it is secure as our Raif is a bit of a Houdini, and has shown us every escape route possible, which are no longer available to him, or any other dogs in our care)
We have wonderful woods nearby, which make for a great playground for the dogs
All the dogs in my care are exercised to your requirements, although generally we find that taking them out to the local woods as a pack works well. We are usually out for 90 minutes, however if your dog is too young/old for this we will take them out seperately
Please note that we only take un-neutered males up to the age of 1 year old, and don't take females in season, even if they have been pre-booked with us
We also provide doggy day care, however we require all day care to be here before 8am, as this is when we go out for our walk. This is to ensure that the noise levels are kept down for our neighbours
Please take a moment to view our slide show, and see all the dogs in our care, having a good time
We do not have any children in residence, the children you see in the photo's are my god-children
We take/enable collection of your dog from 06-00 hours to 21-o0 hours. We would ask guests to be considerate of our neighbours and take care to not obscure their drive in any way, especially the driveway of Number 84
All dogs taken, however I do require to meet them first to assess their temperament, and assess how they will get along with my dogs, a soft daft Staffi called Bella, who is missing her big sister, and her new brother Raif, a young Beagle/Harrier
